How do you remove shower doors and sliders under them?

I would like to remove my shower doors and sliders and place a shower curtain instead.

    You should be able to lift up doors out of track. You'll find screws,in track to remove .

    Hi Marsha. I'm Cindy. The rails have screws in them to hold the doors in place. Remove the top rail first. Then you will be able to lift doors off the track. Then remove the rest of the frame. Hope this helps you.

    Just be sure to fill the holes with caulking or something to seal them.

    I did the same thing Dee is suggesting. I used Goo-Gone on the residue left after scraping the caulk off. For the screw holes in the wall on the sides you can use caulking or you can buy the little flat plastic sorta-like sunbursts(?) with a screw in the middle to cover it. Like the ones used on a bathroom mirror. With caulking, I did not have to use them but in some instances might look nice.

    Pick the doors upward and pull out the bottoms the bottom track is usually caulked in the sides are screwed to the wall.
