Yes it is, it is coming back into style much to the chagrin of future homeowners who will have to remove it :)

Wall paper is still available, just not used much where I live. Removing wallpaer can be a life changing experience unless you are one of the lucky ones who have wallpaper that is not glued so well.

If it looks nice, leave it.

I recently bought a house with everything wallpapered and now I am dealing with the results of removing it. I even have replaced all the doors because they were papered and that includes the molding around the door edges. The paper was coming off so I couldn't leave it and I couldn't paint over it.

Deb whatever your preference is what is what is in style. Yes removing wallpaper is a major pain. If you like it leave it. I have "unpapered" (is that a word?) and papered again. If it works in your house leave it. So if you like it it is in style. YOUR stlye

  • Wallpaper is always in style if done correctly. If you like the wallpaper that is there and it is in decent shape, work with it. The TV show Mad Men a few years back made mid century modern cool, hip and trendy again. Retro can be a lot of fun to decorate with, provided it suits your taste.

If you decide the current wallpaper is not to your liking, remove it and paint or choose another style that makes you happy, yet enhances to style of the home.
