Hi Robin. I'm Cindy. Begin by removing any food particles. You can clean your oven by sprinkling baking soda in it. Then spray white distilled vinegar on the baking soda. Let it set 30 minutes. Then wipe it all up with a clean damp cloth. If the oven has excess stains, you may need to repeat. I hope this helps you.

Simply place a glass bowl filled with about a cup of ammonia in your oven overnight, remove and wipe down the interior of your oven. The ammonia will loosen all the crusty stuff in your oven. DO NOT HAVE TH GAS ON YOUR OVEN ON. This also works well on bbq grates, place the grates in a large heavy duty garbage bag and pour in a good amount of ammonia. Fasten tightly and leave overnight, then rinse of the grates well and dispose of the garbage bag ammonia and all. Works like a charm!

Hi Robin,. If you don't have self-clean, use Easy-Off oven cleaner. You can also put vinegar in a Pyrex bowl, in the oven, and put it on 400 o for1/2 he. When oven cools wipe with a wet rag or paper towels. Aloha!

Scrape first and remove loose particles. I wouldn't use an oven cleaner, they are toxic. Try the vinegar and let it sit. I scrub my gas oven with an SOS pad.

I cannot use an oven cleaner or ammonia. It is dangerous to use anything with fumes in a gas oven UNLESS I turn off the gas. Since I am not going to pull out my restaurant size stove (Oy!) I needed other suggestions. I APOLOGIZE for not being clear! I will try the heating up with a bowl of lemon juice first. Then use vinegar and a salted lemon or SOS. THANK YOU for your input! Robin
