  • You could put tissues around a lollipop, add googly eyes, and a little pipe cleaner around the top to look like a ghost. You could also fill plastic food service gloves with candy corn and popcorn, then add a spider ring on one of the fingers. I also wrote an article that has some cute ideas too.

When my kids were little we made Halloween spiders . I cut up the cardboard style egg cartons, to get a dozen " bumps " . Then we painted them black, glued googly eyes on them and used black pipe cleaners for the legs .

2 memorable crafts that my children brought home from kindergarten were :

    1. A cook book. The teacher asked each child how their parent cooked a food that they liked. She didn't correct them , only prompted things like

how long does it look for ? What temperature ? The teacher then typed it out and the child drew a picture of the food. She put all the recipes together in a book format. It was absolutely hysterical !!!

    2. A snowglobe. Each child made a small snowman out of clay . Then it was glued to the inside of a baby food jar lid. White sprinkles were placed in the baby food jar along with some water. The lid, with the snowman, was then screwed back on. The teacher ran a line of hot glue around the edge of the cap, to seal the jar. I still have both items , and my " kids " are now 37 & 27 years old !!!
