I LOVE spray paint projects. My problem: the cleanup! How can I get spray paint off my hands after crafting? Thanks!!
Pour a small layer of equal parts water and white vinegar on the bottom of the pan.
Heat the diluted vinegar on the stove top and allow it to come to a boil.
After it boils for a minute, remove it from the heat and drain the vinegar down the sink.
Slice a lemon and place in pan. Fill with water and boil for 5 minutes. Then scrape residue off with wooden spoon or scouring pad.
I have boiled water with dishwashing liquid in it..sometimes it works but not always.
my sister puts baking soda an water let it sit over night an wash the pan
You didn't say if the scorching was on the inside or outside - for inside the pan, I've used the vinegar/water method but have let it sit at least 30 minutes and then it is easily cleaned. If outside, you can sit the pot or pan in that mixture as well. If it doesn't work, you might try spraying the outside scorch with oven cleaner.
