What a wonderful complement to the creator of a comment that you like. :) The best way to make sure that the creator sees your comment is to find the project page and put your thoughts on that specific page in the comment section underneath the project. The DIY Forum section is for questions about general projects, so the creator most likely won't see it here. :(
