  • Spray with water with a couple drops of dish soap in it. Make sure you get the whole surface of the plant, especially under leaves

  • You can spray with an insecticidal soap. Or use a mild soap diluted with water as a homemade version. Just be sure to not use a heavy duty soap which can damage plant. Soap basically dehydrates any bugs on plant and kills them.

Use warm or room temp soapy water so as not to shock plant. Keep separate from other indoor plants. Be sure to remove any dead or decaying leaves that bugs or critters can hide in. Also check holes under pot where snails & slugs hide.

Ideally, repot in fresh soil before bringing indoors. Alternatively, wash plant as recommended with soapy water, including soil. Drain very well.

Let the soil dry completely out (but don't let the plants die!). Then, if you can, microwave the soil to kill any bugs or eggs in the soil. Replant.
