Is there a way to unpllug the spray nossel on the top of a paint spray

It is a new can and the nossel seems to be plugged up. I've tried sticking a needle in it or removing it and blowing in the bottom, but getting nowhere.

  • If it's a new can, I would return it to the store where it was purchased.

I used it just a little over a month ago. I usually turn the can over and spray to clear it. Not sure if I did this time. I just need to clean out the nossel.

You can try soaking the nozzle in some nail polish remover for a while. Has worked for me. Another option I have done is use a nozzle from another can that is clear and fits. I have a lot of different spray cans.

I never thought about it. I try to save some before throwing a can out. I know Amazon sells some for specific brands of spray paint. Never checked the homecenters.

I think I’ll take one off of other cans and soak & save them.
