You can diffuse peppermint oil or make peppermint candles and burn them. I make a parafin candle set every year about now and then burn them through the winter months.

It’s a great detour for keeping spiders out! I use a peppermint spray around my windows around my drapes & door frames. Also once a week I spray the corners of my walls. I will also make my bed & spray around the floor edges of our bed. Yes a bit drastic but inlove the smell & I have had 2 spider bites one just this summer while outside with sandals on! And once a few yrs ago that landed me in the hosp. We live in the country & have a very nice but 1984 brick home. It is hard to keep dust out with older doors & windows & a husband that works in a shop all day & out in the pastures. We raise cattle now on our ranch & we are both retired. House cleaning with 5 grandchildren is a fun challenge to me... lol but I want to know they are safe in their play/bedroom as I. I dislike spiders!!!! Love the smell of peppermint do why not use it to work for me!?🌺

Buy peppermint oil at one of the stores like Sprouts or Trader Joe's. Apply a few drops to cotton balls and place in various places throughout your home. Refresh every now and then to keep your home pepperminty! Love the smell of it and also Wintergreen. Essential oils are usually very highly concentrated so it doesn't take much.
