THIS POST I wrote on a tip to hang a group of pictures, describes a fantastic product that would work great on tiles. It'll hold the pictures tight to the wall, but not damage the wall at all!
For pictures, command strips work great!
Command strips makes Velcro strips, . Maybe get a light weight ledge, like a piece of crown molding . To place pictures on or light weight stuff like q tips , wash cloths , tissue.
