How cold is it by you? If it does not have time to get re-established this fall, wait till spring. I am in Zone 9 and can still safely transplant, but if too nippy at night, I would wait.

You can transplant now, as long as it gets settled before the first frost. Sedum is the easiest plant to grow by rooting a cutting. I wouid take a few cuttings, root them all winter and by spring you should have healthy plants grown from them. I have more than a dozen sedum plants 4 feet across all from the cuttings of one plant!
I have found the best way to start Sedum plants just to take a leaf off in the fall and put it in a small pot I do an entire flat at a time and by the time spring comes the ready to go into the ground
