I inherited some Chokin ware from my mother and she used blu-tac to save her precious china from being broken if we had an Earthquake

I could only find info on removing it from clothing, walls & Carpet, nothing like china. Try rubbing it very gently with a damp Magic Eraser. I hope this helps.

Not sure but you could try more blu-tac to rub it off. Or maybe Silly Putty. A cloth with Glue Gone on it might also work

I’d carefully put the pieces in the freezer for a few hours. Use an old credit card for any scraping. Let it defrost very gradually after removing gunk. Be sure to put it on a pile of toweling so there is no bumping or scraping, as it will be very vulnerable.

Let it sit on a rug out of the way to get back to room temp. No sun.

I absolutely LOVE Goo Gone. I use it on all my jars that I am going to be upcycling. I would definitely try it. Maybe just try a patch area first.

Thanks to everyone who have sent me their suggestions I'll try them. I don't know what Goo Gone is so will look out for it.
