Try the automotive front headlight polish kits sold in places like Walmart. Some ppl use a bit of mineral oil, for that washes off quickly. A little Bar Keeper’s Friend cleaning powder might work too.

Try buffing with toothpaste and a soft cloth - not the gel formula, but paste. It works well on cloudy headlights on the car, too.

I use Deep Woods OFF! Insect Repellent and a paper towel. Works for me.
I wipe mine clean then shine up with vasolene.
