Recently moved to S.C, how to get rid of all the bugs?

So what advice do you have for getting rid of all the bugs ???
We are very careful about keeping the kitchens clean .. we tried the electronic bug thing it failed !!!

I answered this in another post. Use water, white vinegar and Peppermint essential oil mixed in a spray bottle and spray away. Bugs hate Peppermint smell, as do a lot of animals.
We moved to southern SC 5 years ago and were told that the newer homes are all built with a perimeter system for continual pest treatment. It is filled once a year. We have not had anything more than some little spiders inside, yet. I did get an infestation from dry food but that was cured with some Raid spray and a sticky bug panel taped to the pantry wall. Hope you are enjoying the other benefits of this beautiful area!
What bug thing did you use? I have a Dyna Trap about 25 feet from each entrance to my house and it has cleared up 98% of bugs or better. Also, what kind of bugs?
BTW, in Alabama
Use a Hotshot BugBomb or Seven. The Flea and Roach bombs kill anything, so you gotta evacuate for 3 hours or so.
