I found this about essential oils: "Effectively repellent essential oils include cinnamon oil, lemongrass oil, clove oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil, thyme oil, tea tree oil, and, finally, eucalyptus oil. In my experience, all or any of these oils have laid claim to both killing as well as repelling bed bugs"

  • If you've tried everything and it hasn't worked, I'd call a professional. Good luck!

My kids called a professional, they had to prep and remove certain items. Along with spraying, they will heat the whole house really hot, it's the only thing that kills them.

Permethrin bedding spray, can also buy in concentrate and mix for use in garden sprayer. Spray house as you would with any insect killer. Want to extinguish any pilot light that may be lit, and turn of heat and air unit. Will need to evacuate area while it works and open up windows and air out when going back inside. They also have spray bombs with this active ingredient.
