Why ? Bees are a helpful necessary insect. There numbers are dropping rapidly. We need them around to pollinate fruits and veggies. If they are in your house, that's a different matter.

please don't. bees are the pollinators of many plants....including food crops. have a bee keeper come out and collect them. some bee populations are on the endangered list. deet was used a while back....and severely culled the bee population. many bee keeps will come out to your place, smoke them to calm them down, and relocate. make a few calls.

p.s. hand pollenating 120 tomato plants - not fun.

  • Never ever kill bees. If you have a hive, call local beekeepers, most will remove for free.

I am horribly allergic to bees but I love them and let things "go to seed" just for them. I don't freak out or panic and I have never been stung, we coexist peacefully.

No, no, no! Call a local beekeeper and he'll come get them. Bees are so important to the environment.

Please, do not kill the bees. There is an epidemic killing the hives that we need to pollinate plants and vegetables. Find the hive and call a bee keeper. He should remove the hive for free.

I certainly understand about not killing bees, I have a large next in an old tree in my backyard that I do not touch because of the importance of bees pollinating our plants. This other nest is logged in my house soffit and we cannot get to it unless we cut the ceiling in my house to get at them. It is a real problem the ceiling is starting to dissolve in the area of the next and I am afraid my children will set sting if the nest breaks through, I guess it is a job for a professional. Thanks

    • That is a completely different story. Would have been helpful first time around. Yes, for this you should hire a professional. Still call in a local beekeeper, it is amazing what they will do to save a hive.
