Just pour a box of soda down each drain.

If this is for a garbage disposer drain, I found after many years of trying everything out there, that garbage was sticking to the under side of the rubber flaps. Running water doesn't rinse there apparently. So now I keep a dedicated brush and once per week, or when I smell something, I put dish soap on the brush, run hot water and clean inside the garbage disposer. I then run hot water and run the disposed for several minutes. It kind of creeps me out when I think of all the years I didn't know this.

this is so true and some of the rubber flaps on a disposal lift off for cleaning..and please unplug your garbage disposal is you are going to put your hand in it....

  • I've put baking soda down the drain and then poured in hot vinegar. Doing that frequently should keep away the odor.

I just throw half a lemon in and grind it up in the disposal. They also make scented sticks or Plinks for garbage disposals.

If its a drain like a tub or sink, clean the hair and gunk out with a drain snake from the Dollar Tree.... https://www.dollartree.com/drain-rooter-plastic-drain-snakes/234822

Pour a cup of baking soda down the drain followed by vinegar. Put the plug in if you have one. Otherwise, cover it with a small plate to let the bubbles really work. Then rinse with hot water.
