Halloween Witch Wreath
This Easy Halloween Witch Wreath was made with mostly items from the dollar store and didn’t take long at all to put together. It’s easy to create a one of a kind, budget friendly wreath.
I had the wire wreath form and the small broom in my craft stash. I purchased the candy corn scarf, black mesh fabric, sign, and ribbon at the Dollar Tree.
I used a 16″ wreath frame. I thought about covering it with some Poly-fil to give a a fuller look, but that turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. You could also use a styrofoam wreath form for this.
I started with the black mesh fabric by wrapping it around through the wreath form. I tucked it between the wires to keep it in place.
I followed the same steps of wrapping and tucking when adding the candy corn scarf. If you use a foam wreath, pearl head pins could be used to secure the fabric.
Adding a fun Halloween sign from the dollar store is an inexpensive way to dress up the wreath. It’s hot glued onto the wreath at the top where the two fabrics meet.
The small broom is also hot glued to the wreath at its top and bottom.
I tied a bow of orange ribbon around the broom handle and layered on the purple ribbon.
From start to finish, this took less than 30 minutes to make. I love the whimsical, fun look of it. Using items on hand and others purchased at the dollar store kept it a very budget friendly project.
My Halloween decor is of the not so spooky variety. I'll leave the gory and creepy to others!
