Please don't use commercial, chemical weed killers. They do too much harm to the environment. Google organic weed killer. Their are tons of recipes. Most of the stuff you will already have around the house. Just buy a spray bottle.

Why do you want to kill the clover? It’s a great natural ground cover and stays green even when there’s a draught. We actually overseed our yard with clover on purpose! :)

If you go with an organic type weed killer, it will have to be one that will kill the roots, not just the plant. Don't use one with salt, that is worse than the chemicals on environmental impact, raising the saline level in streams, rivers and lakes, even drinking water. It takes a long time for saline levels to drop, as the salt does not really dissipate over time, it rehydrates where it was dried on rocks, etc. each time it rains, or whatever. Most of the chemicals affect the plant and it's roots and very little soil. If you get the kind that doesn't affect the grass, all the better.

Clover is good for the bees!!! I usually let mine grow until I've to mow the grass. We need the bees to pollinate the flowers and trees. Bees population has really gone down in the last few years. Please don't use weed killer on them because of the environmental impact.
