Find a insecticide with permetherin. It's used on flea collars and dust form to apply to dog and cat bedding for bug control. I use a granulated form spread around the foundation to control most of the creepy crawlers from entering.
Hi. One of the problems we're now facing from the aftermath of Harvey is an abundance of thief ants that we never had before. I've been watching were they're coming in and applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly. We're now getting some dry weather so I can caulk the outside of the house, but the jelly seemed to work in a pinch. Good luck!
