Inez, Do you mean they were outside while it was hot/warm?? you have to make sure you debug them first, remove broken/dead branches/leaves...If they are going inside your home, find a place they would receive enough light...I know that in some places, they overwinter their plants in basements/garages, etc...JMO

  • Hi Inez, it depends on the type of plants, but, in general, make sure they have the same or similar light and watering conditions and check for any pests that may have traveled in with them.

Hi, Clean them up and make sure they have a plate and add a little stick of Fall Foliage or something with color. Clean leaves individually if necessary.

We soak them in very mild bleach water (1 cup bleach to 10 gallons water) in a container deep enough to cover the entire pot.

leave for an hour. Remove and let drain then bring the plants in.

You're welcome. We've been doing it this way for about 50 years or so. Very successful!
