I grow mine in pots, and if I don't put my greenhouse up I put them in our laundry room if it's going to be cold. I put them in large plastic laundry baskets so that when I water them it doesn't make a mess on the floor. You probably won't have to water as much, and the leaves won't look great but they usually come back once they go back outside.

Living in Minnesota, I have to bring in my hibiscus each year. Try to give them the same amount of sunlight that they get outside. Mine don't like much direct sun, so I use daylight bulbs instead of the higher intensity grow light bulbs. They like humidity, so watch the soil to see if it dries out quicker inside than outside with the dry furnace heat. We use a moisture meter on all plants that are in the house. Menards carries one that was really reasonable when I had to replace my old one (thirty years old), it was about five dollars. Make sure to use an insecticidal soap on them before you bring them in so that you don't bring bugs in that may cause problems and spread to other plants. I hope this helps you with overwintering your hibiscus. Check out websites like the one suggested to make sure you do everything they need to overwinter indoors successfully. Enjoy them inside, it is a great addition inside during the winter to watch them flower and brighten things up!

Rma, I actually use Neem oil on mine, I had a mite problem with mine last winter and that took care of it. Many use a water/soap type spray, there are many recipes out there. I purchase my plant lights and daylight bulbs at Home Depot. All you have to do is look for the word daylight on the package. We actually purchased a shop light and put a daylight bulb in it. We have added to our collection of hibiscus plants, so we may have to add another one. We also have the plants in our back room that the south wall is almost all window from floor to ceiling. If your hibiscus plants like a lot of full sun, I would go with the full blown plant bulbs. Mine just did a lot better getting only a few hours of afternoon sun and lots of evening sun. They grew more and put out more flowers, yours may like more sun.
