My gardenia and jasmine creeper are not blooming. Any suggestions?
I live in Dubai and temp is highs of 38 and lows of 30. Gardenia is kept in partial shade has good foliage but no bloom. Also have a jasmine creeper kept in full sun with amazing footage and growth but no bloom. How to fix it?

Your soil might have too much nitrogen. Nitrogen makes the plant grow but does nothing for the flowers. I'm in the US and was unable to find an article specifically for Dubai, but this article might help get you started. Wishing you the best.

Fertilize them with a high second number, not a high first number on fertilizerbag...it's the second number that forms the blooms, high first number gives you plush new growth , pushing away formation of flower buds...get ready for some beautiful blooms.....

It is frustrating to have plants and no flowers, no? I went through the same. What you can do is, prune the foliage from the bottom of the plant. Let the upper part grow and bloom. Also, you can use Desert Energy De Fruit & Flower for bloom. I used it and my peonies are overflowing.
