By the way, I think the quality of your wood doors is beautiful. If you decide to replace them, PLEASE give the doors to a Habitat Resale store, so they can find a new home.
I know this isn't an answer but these wood panels are gorgeous. Please don't paint them. They have a great Midcentury look. Anything comparable new would cost you a fortune. I'd leave them but maybe get some high end retro style chrome pulls from |Rejuvenation.
