If it is the inside bottom, I just boil water in the pan,and it usually comes out pretty good. I got this tip from my hubby, lol! Good luck.

I admit I never tried it because I don't use them for laundry, but I know I've seen where you can put a dryer sheet in the pan and it will remove the burnt on gunk! If you try it, let us know how it works!!

I heard that cooking shows use fabric softener dryer sheets to remove the burnt on food. Put the sheet in the bottom, pour boiling water on it and let it sit over night. I've never tried it, but it's worth a try. Really makes you wonder what they put in those sheets! I know they're good for a quick bug repellant too. Just rub it on you and they don't bother you for a little while.

One tsp of baking soda and one tsp of citric acid added to the pot of clean water. Let it sit over night. The burned gunk will peel off. I occasionally scour my stainless steel pans with this mixture just to keep them nice. Buy the citric acid in the canning section of Wal-Mart, or Amazon.

I add 1/3 dryer sheet or 1 tbsp fabric softener to the pan filled with warm water. Let it sit 3-4 mins and burnt food comes right off. Wash with regular dish detergent.

I use boiling water with a squeeze of dawn dish soap. Boil for a few minutes, scrape with a spoon and then scrub as usual. Good luck! :-)

Try crumbling up a piece of aluminum foil into a ball, then scrub the pot.

If your pans are stainless steel remove all plastic handles there should be a screw that holds them on. Spray with oven cleaner same as you would your oven. Note use only on stainless. I use oven cleaner on my corning ware, pyrex and stainless cookware. Never on teflon, aluminum or coated type cookware. Follow directions on can same as you would for cleaning oven. I use Easy Off oven cleaner.
