I didn't know if I could use the same soil over and over again for different purposes such as, flowers, peppers, herbs?

Hi. It's a good idea to sterilize the dirt. Bake it in an oven of 150 for 1 hour. Let cool, then you can reuse. This kills anything that may be a problem for the new plant. Happy gardening!

If you used potting soil in your pots it should probably be replaced. Any fertilizer that was added to the soil (or was part of the potting mix) has been depleted. If you have large pots that need lots of potting soil to fill the pot I would suggest using some old potting soil for the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 and then adding fresh on top next year.

    Divna,

You can use the same soil, you just need to amend it. Dump it all into a pile and add some good quality compost to it. Mix it up well and put back in your pots.

    😊
