Garden landscape cover, do I remove from vegetable garden?

Do I remove from my vegetable garden over winter or leave until I replace it in the fall?

    I remove mine each year. You may even want to fertlize it and let it sit for the winter.

    Depending on where you live, I'm in zone 6 New England. It is best to remove as mush as possible some vegetables are actually perennial such as asparagus and should be left in. I try to cover me garden area with leaves or mulch.

    I would remove them and replace them with fresh ones. By removing the old ones, you also remove any insect eggs or insects hiding among the leaves for the winter.

    Hello Joan. You will want to remove all of the plants. This will prevent any bacteria or diseases from getting in to the soil.
