Hi Patsy,. Old English, has two stains you can buy. One is for light wood, and the other for dark. You don't say if you floor is light or dark. Buy both and start with the light color. Drip a drop on the mark rub it in with a clean cloth. Next, wait about 1 hr, then rub clean with paper towels, until the towel is clean. If that don't cover the stain again with the light color, try again. If after several tries, use the dark. Drip a drop and use the same procedure as the light color. You can go from light to dark, but you can't go backwards. Be patient and take your time. These products can be found in the cleaning isle of your supermarket. Aloha!
