Try denture cleaner. You may have to soak a rag in it and then place over the stain and let sit for awhile

    Hi Dauna,

I use baking soda on my stainless steel sink. I wet the surface then sprinkle on baking soda, rub it around with a clean sponge, then let it sit for a while. When I come back, I use a wet sponge to clean it by rubbing it in the direction of the grain or in circles along the sides. I then rinse and dry the sink, then use a vegetable oil on a clean cloth to polish and condition the stainless steel. If you have stains that still don't come off, then I repeat but use vinegar on top of the baking soda for an extra boost. There are also commercial stainless steel cleaners that you can purchase, I just like using natural products when I can. Wishing you the best.

close off sink with stopper, add baking soda, then add white or apple vinegar, suds automatically, use a chore boy or the green scratchy pad and rinse down the drain. I no longer have a stainless sink, but my composite sink, I use a Magic Eraser, I would think it would work as well!

WD40 will clean almost everything off stainless steel. Sinks, refrigerators, vent hoods, stove tops, drawer pulls, counter stool bases, I live in Mexico half of the year so I’m familiar with mildew, water stains, rust, grit, etc. My friend (a car nut since middle school...we are now 71!) told me about WD40. He uses it for everything in his garage, home and collection of various motorized “toys”.

I was skeptical. But...WOW! It no5 only removed rust and stains but it even removed most of the scratches other products left behind. Spray it on and wipe it off with a soft cloth using a circular motion. Repeat if necessary. Then wipe down one final time with a fresh cloth or paper towels to remove all the excess oily residue.

I’ve noticed the stains and such don’t return as quickly after the first treatment. I also use it to keep my sliding doors...well...sliding!

Be sure to read all warnings on the can. Don’t want you to asphyxiate yourself while making everything shiny and sparkly.

You can fill sink up with hot water and a little bleach and let it soak awhile. Drain sink then scrub with Barkeepers Friend. Should work.
