I've made wool balls using wool yarn. Wind the yarn into a ball about 4 inch in dia, place in boiling water and dry in dryer. You can put several drops of essential oil on them. Place with your clothes in the dryer and it works very well. They also last a long time. I usually use three balls in a dryer load.
