Bring them inside, as easy as that.
I bought succulents that can handle those conditions. I live in Northern California where those conditions are about the same as yours. I buy just for zone 7 or down to zone 4.
I stop watering them from Oct. 15 to March 15. For large plants, you can cover with fabric cloth and put a 60 watt light (the kind with a cage around the bulb) under the plant but not touching it. All you need to do is to keep the temperature above about 36 degrees. If you can't bring them inside try to move them next to a sliding door or under a window, best if under an overhang like a covered patio. You can also make a cold frame type of structure anchoring some plastic under a window frame and angling out so it makes a lean to kind of structure, put some plants in that and the light bulb. Plants can also go in a basement or garage with some grow lights and a timer. I got a couple of IKEA floor lamps for about $20 each, grow bulbs at Home Depot, ordered a timer online. For us, this works all year long. Can also be used to start seeds.
