Planting Grass?
I live in New Mexico in the desert in a city that has heavy water restrictions during spring and summer. My front yard is rocks, but the back yard is almost bare dirt. This causes a horrible dust problem I want to plant grass to keep the dust down, but in spring the water restrictions start. Fines are issued if you use water on your off days. Planting grass seed is difficult due to water issues and laying sod is worse. I have looked at "Astro turf" type products but I have 4 large dogs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and considered.
