How do I get my garden ready for the winter?
I have several potted flowers. How can I save them from freezing this winter? I also have some roses shrubs and plants what do I do to my garden to get it ready for the cold winter months?

Clean up the top of the soil - put down at least 3 inches of good mulch. Watch the weather report. When it says it's going to freeze, blanket the plants. I collect thrift store fleece blankets as I think they are better than sheets. You can also water well before a freeze. It seems to help. Your potted plants? If you can't protect them inside a garage, group together and cover before a freeze.
