How do I fix my ceiling?

our AC was backed up and overfilled the pan upstairs causing water to leak through and while we were able to stop it and no water is there now, we see a bubble in the seam of the sheet rock downstairs...Thank you.

Remove and replace the tape then mud and sand. We always mud an area just slightly wider than the tape and sand (using damp sponge), then repeat the process with a wider span at least two more times. Once you have a smooth finish you can paint.
Cut through the tape and scrape off as much as you can. Sand smooth if needed. Use fiberglass mesh tape over the seam. Sticky on one side. Mud, sand, prime, and paint.

Scrap off any thing hanging plaster the hole get mesh tapers tape and put a strip over the seam then plaster over the tape let dry completely then plaster some more then lightly sand till smooth then pain
