How long will it take for tomatoes to ripen after placing in a bag?

Some will ripen in a few days, others may take a week or two. It depends on the tomatoes!
It depends upon how green and hard they are.
Fried green tomatoes are an alternative. Yum!
Check daily. There is no standard answer because there are variables like humidity and room temperature. Also, make sure the tomatoes aren't touching. I wrap each one in newspaper to ripen and it works great.
