How do you stop a G.I. tin roof from rusting and deteriorating?

I do not want to keep replacing or replacing my roofmaterials but they seem to rust away and generate holes.

I found this site that explains and gives you 3 options on helping prevent rust on your roof.

You can fix it to not rust.

Paint it. On metal roofs today, they use a reflective paint. I woud first spray rust spots with a rust inhibiture.
