Cathy: I have had good luck with Magic Eraser on grout. However... for an entire house, you may want to get the grout professionally cleaned!

We bought an Arizona house where the floors had not been cleaned since it was built in 1995! We tried everything! Only thing that worked was straight Spic n Span and a rough bristle brush. All our grout is white now, it took awhile, but we are very happy.

Hi Cathy, You can make a thin paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Apply it to the grout and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. Scrub with an old toothbrush and rinse clean. If the grout between the tiles has worn down too far, it may be a better idea to first re-grout and then seal. You can also buy grout pens to quickly “recolor” your grout and make them look new again.
