Help in keeping a gardenia plant alive until spring?

    If you live in an area where it will freeze you must bring it indoors. It will need a sunny spot indoors. Make sure the planter isn't too small nor too big. Like the three bears is must be just right.

      Thank you. I neglected to say Northern Colorado. It is still outside - did bring it in when the temp went down past 32 - but the weather has been very warm - night times in the 40's. Have it in a buycket ready to move it indoors. Would a bringht light help?

    Depending on where you live and if the plant is inaccessible container, it might be possible to cover it with moderately heavy plastic if a frost/freeze is threatened.

      Wondering how long I could keep it covered w/ the plastic? We are in northern Co.
