How do I care for potted lemon trees? They are about 3 feet. I live in western Georgia .

Watering for a potted citrus is key. It might help to get a water gauge to stick in the dirt because watering too much will kill the tree. Fertilize two times a year protect from freezing temps in winter by covering or moving inside.
If they are rootbound you can transfer them to a bigger pot... to the next size. Cover them in the winter with a 5 mil plasic.
