How do I get rid of spring cut worms?
How do I get rid of spring cut worms or something that is cutting off my new spring planting that are about a 1/2 mo. old? The cutting is about level with the ground so you can see where it has been cut.

See if this info helps you out! also you could visit your local garden center or Home Depot type store and show them pictures of the worms and ask what they suggest.
My dear farmer lady friend told me to put on toothpick in the ground right up against the stem and the cut worms will leave them alone because they cannot get their cutters to work all the way around. She was right, it stopped them. Hope this helps. Hope you can get rid of the cut worms.
Are they for sure getting eaten? I ask because what you described is also definition of dampening off
