How can i disguise these horrid things in my yard?
we just moved into our home, and discovered these beastly things in our back yard...something to do with the septic system..you can see that the pipe that s needed should it need to be pumped at some time between the two..does anyone know what I could do to cover up those two ugly cement things, and yet preserve access if needed??

You can buy fake rocks that will go over the top of these yet leave them accessible. I landscaped a oval shaped garden around mine and used fake rocks and perennials to make the area look nicer.
I would paint it the color of grass and put a nice big potted plant on it.
Your dog looks like my grand dog Skooter! So cute! (I know that wasnāt helpful!)
What a fabulous yard! I would be jumping for joy with all that space. A necessary evil, so I say embrace it. Decorate with yard art and potted plants that can easily be removed when they need to be serviced. Cute doggie too. š
How close are these to your back door/slider/whatever? build a deck going out and over them, but have the builder put in trap doors for access when needed.
I suggest adding a 5 foot tall 5 foot black bird bath to draw your eye up and away. Then I would add some colorful pots with mounding flowers flowing over. Something like Lime green Sweet potato vine and sun loving hostas close to the edge. Paint the thing black so it visually disappears. You could also paint it to match the birdbath so it would look like the base of the bird bath.
I painted ours camo...so it blends with nearby shrubs, monkey grass, etc...
