Planting flower bulbs for spring?
I live in Southern New England and would like to know more about flower bulbs. I’ve seen them in s store where the sign says: plant now for spring. I’m very new at gardening. Do I have to do anything special? Plant them a certain depth?

For flower bulbs that bloom in the spring you need to plant them in the fall. Each variety of bulb will require a different planting depth. You will have to look up the planting information for the bulbs you are planting.
Generally packets of bulbs come with directions for bulb depth. The zone you live in is usually taken into account. To be honest, I usually rely on Sunset (Western)Garden book. There’s an Eastern version too and it contains so much helpful info no matter what your gardening experience is. And yes, now is the time to start planting bulbs 😁
google the depth needed to plant but other then that nothing special is needed to plant a bulb
