How do you fix a small tear in a vinyl floor without replacing the whole floor? Too much glue on the flooring in a rental home cause it to bunch up and tear

Hi Pam, If it is a small tear, you can glue it down with superglue, a bigger tear may be glueable along the tear, and anything bigger my need a patch from a scrap piece of the vinyl

In this case I would take a photo to the home improvement store and ask for their advice. It is too hard to give you advice without seeing what the problem is. They also have the tools and the expertise to help you find a solution.
