This year I have 15 herbs going. I air dry mine between paper towels or cheesecloth. Very hot and dry here (still, was 88 today, less than 15% humidity), so for me, easy and free. I store in glass jars or tins for future use and to give as gifts.
You can Air Dry them or Quick Dry them in a Toaster Oven tray or in your Oven on a baking sheet
Just cut off and hang up until dry.
Hi Bob - This is a great article on how to harvest, dry, and preserve herbs. It's pretty easy and the method we have used for years. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

I've used Holly's method for many years and the only time I had a problem was when I didn't make sure they were dry before bundling. I hang them in the basement.
It depends on the herb. Most herbs can be dried in a dehydrator. I have an article here that might be helpful: https://homegardenjoy.com/site/2014/06/savor-the-taste-of-summer-how-to-dry-fresh-herbs-without-special-equipment.html
