another aluminum siding house. i want to keep the foundation as is but i dont have to. the garage is attached. i want to change the awning to . color, color, color, what should i do?
Another cute house! Nice piece of property too. Looks like lots of white or cream houses in the neighborhood. Yes, I agree, it needs color to make it stand out a bit. Since you like pastels, choose another color that you like?
Taupe, Green, Yellow??? Shutters to give it a final touch.
Shutters on the front windows would work if you balance it out by adding a flower box underneath the right front window ,align the flower box with the bottom of the opposite window and add a front awning and you have balance . Make the front door green. Yellow would be nice for the trim if you trimmed out the front windows and add white with an inner black trim . By adding two colors to the trim Black on the inner part of the window then white to the outside trim to make it pop!
I would love to make this baby outshine the neighborhood. Flower boxes and trim will make a huge difference. Does that make sense? :D

By the way, Have some kid artist paint that dumpster and make it art.
Before I started painted or did any decor outdoor fixings I would add some kinda porch with railings. or deck if it is the back of your house , AND get some landscaping ideas with bushes , sidewalks and driveway. It looks like you got sooooooo many possibilities......WOW!! You can do it, but start from the Needs list, before the Wants list. Just my way...
Definitely shutters and window boxes. Especially over the garage, as that appears to be very open to view. I would use the yellow & black also. Plus paint the front door Hunter Green. Take down the outdated glass door and put in a full glass door that comes with a full screen you can change out in the Spring. Also paint the garage doors Hunter Green. Altogether that with some light landscaping will make your neighborhood jealous!!
Why not go all out with Pink, white and Mint! Pink house mint door white trim. Shed in Mint with Pink doors. Hers some visual help. One is black trim, which is pretty too! One house looks a lot like yours.
