Make sure you coffee grounds are dry before you shut them up in a container. Dry them on an old cookie sheet first.

I dry mine on the foam plates. Hubby uses the pods and puts two on each plate. I put them up. after spreading them out evenly, until they are dry and then put them in gallon zip lock bags. You have to make sure they are really dry before putting them away for storage. If the grounds are too thick they will mold, so make sure not too have it very thick on whatever you use to dry them. It will take a number of days.

Glad I could help, It isn't easy to dry them sometimes if the are thick on the plates, if nothing else, stir them at least a couple of times a day so that it will dry more evenly. E used to put them in a shed spread container by the vent in my kitchen and I would stir it a couple of times a day and the air from the vent would help it dry faster. It will be thicker, so you have to make sure to stir it up so the wet bottom part dries before it can get moldy. Don't put the wet grounds in anything that you will cover, it will not dry quick enough to not mold as it will hold in the moisture.

Put them in a super sealed container and then put it in your refrigerator.
