How do I find the septic tank cover?
Need to have septic tank pumped out. They need to have it exposed first. (The cover) and I have no idea where it is... no one in my family is alive that would know. Who could tell me??

You have options. Go to city hall and see if they still have the original blueprints from when the house was built. Next option is to walk the property to find it. Carry a stick and keep poking around till you find it. Generally located in the middle of the yard somewhere. Or pay the service extra to find it for you, then mark the spot for future reference. Your City or County will have a copy of the original lay out and location. Check with them.
