Try heat lamp or hair dryer

  • If it is not dry and it all went on the same time, it will not dry. It is because it was not mix properly. You could off scraped the bottom of the container on that section. You will have to sand it off and add another coat. It is one of the most common problem you have using epoxy resin. If it is not dry after 24 hours it never will.

    Is it still wet?

  • I would try a dryer on it. I’ve had to do this on a table in one spot that was a little thicker

If that is 2 part epoxy, it is possible that one spot contains partially mixed material in which case it will never dry. Only remedy is to sand it, and reapply thoroughly mixed epoxy. Hopefully that is not the case and your table is now dry!

    Hi Miri,

I got this tip from Rustoleum for their Super Glaze product. Try using pure acetone on the spot. Pour some on the spot and let it dry to see if that works. Acetone can be found wherever you buy nail polish remover. Do not use nail polish remover though. You need the acetone by itself. Wishing you the best.
