    1. Move a heat gun back and forth along the bead of caulk that you desire to remove from the bricks, holding it approximately 6 to 8 inches away.
    2. Use a putty knife to scrape along the edges of the caulk and pry it up.
    3. Work up the edges of difficult sections of caulk with the blade of a utility knife.

Rocket Propelled Grenades Vicky! 6 seconds or less and the job is done. 😊. Or maybe Melt down the caulking with a flamethrower. However if you do not so happen to have a flamethrower or RPG...you may use an ove' glove with any other heat source, such as:

    1. the Standard Steam Iron covered with Aluminum Foil.

    2. Charcoal with a dab of lighter fluid wrapped in Aluminum foil to contain the heat.

    3. Lighter fluid directly on the item you want to melt with fire.

    4. Any soldering iron, again covered with aluminum foil

    5. Any makeshift portable stove made out of heating elements from an old stove and an old Extension Cord.

    6. A Stale Cigar.

Any of those heat sources will melt it enough that you can either Peel it off, or it sticks like goo to the aluminum foil.
