What to do with Fall mums?

If I plant fall mums in the ground and “bed” them down after they bloom will the grow back next season?

    not if they are Decorative Mums from most DIY stores. They have to be Hardy Mums to come back the next year. I have struggled w/this also and finally found out that there is a difference in Mums. Hope this helps.

    Mary is right. Some mums are annuals and some are not. Mounding mums are usually perennial and I have had some luck with others. Look up what kind they are from the store tag where you purchase them.
